COURT RELEASES JOHN REINHART Seymour Man Held on White Slave Charge. ohn Reinhart, 31. of Seymour, and Mrs. Mabel Everett, 34, of Washington, defendant and witness, respectively, on i a charge of violation of the Mann white slave act, were released on their own j recognizance by Judge A. B. Anderson , in federal court yesterday. Both are to appear in federal court when ordered by the United States dis trict attorney, the court said. The bonds of Reinhart and Mrs. I Everett were filed at $2,000. The two were arrested at Washington! Sunday when the husband of Mrs.. Everett, a Baltimore & Ohio railway ' engineer, is alleged to have assaulted ; Reinhart, a freight conductor on the j same road, accusing him of taking Mrs. ! Reinhart to Cairo, 111., about two years ; ago. Reinhart said that Everett made an at tack on him with a dagger and exhibited a four-inch gash on his neck in sup port of this. His left hand was split between the second and third finger, due, he said, to a dagger thrust by Everett, and he also showed a cut across his chest. His clothes were torn and slashed in places, where Everett struck at him. he said, but did not touch the Cesh. Everett, It was said, gave himself up to the police at Washington. It is said that he has filed suit for a divorce. Mrs. Everett told the court that she has four children, the youngest 12 anc the oldest 17. She told the court that she thought they were old enough to care for tb>m. eelves. Reinhart said that he is married ana that he has a wife and three children.
