assignment of parts for a t hree-oct play
this week. Rehearsals will begin next
week.
The discussion of topics related par
ticularly to citizenship vms comp’eted in
the open forum last Monday night, 6:30
to 7:30, when the League of Nations
was dismissed by a Democratic and n
Republican (yvaker.® On next Monday
night, Nov. 1, another series of subjects
concerning our international relations
will be taken up. These will include dis
cussions of our relations to Mexico and
South America, democracy In the Far
East and in India, under most able
speakers, who have first hand knowledge
of these countries. The topic for next
Mopday night is “Christian Internation
alism." and the speaker will be Dr. L.
A. Ilnrrlman. Everyone interested is In
vited to drop into the Y. W. C. A. louge

All three high school girl reserve clubs
will celebrate election week with mock

winter on next Saturday night, 8 to 10

Among the former popular Indianapolis
girls whom Cupid was singled out is Miss
Elizabeth Harrison, now of New York,
whose engagement to James Blaine
Walker Jr. of New York has been an
nounced by Mrs. Benjamin Harrison, her
rnothor.
Miss Harrison, who is the daughter of
former President Harrison, attended
Tudor Hall and is a graduate of West
over School, Connecticut.
She holds a degree of bachelor of sci
ence from Washington Square College, j
New York University, and bachelor of
law and doctor of jurisprudence from
New York University.
Miss Harrison wns admitted to the In
diana bar and the New York bar last
year and now is practicing law in New
York.
Mr. Blaine, who is a grandnephew of
the late James G. Blaine, Secretary of
State in President Harrison's Cabinet,
is a graduate of Cornell University.
During the war he served as secretary
of tie first section, general staff, A. E.
F., at General Pershing’s headquarters.

The date of the wedding has not been
announced.
