12 Open Tonight 6 to 8:30 jflttxfyt &abtng* anti £nttft <Ba >—w I REAL ESTATE GOSSIP ' By REALTOR "4L" EVANS There was a large number of strange faces at the business meeting Thursday night. Say, strangers, you are also in vited to attend the regular noon-day , uncheons. Come regular; let’s get ac- 1 attainted. Wonder where John Robins was when President Carson asked for arguments on the initiation fee? Telephone, Mr. Carson. Old copyright. I stand corrected. New copyright. Some of the reports read on Thursday night show that a number of the realtors believe in hustling for the board. Temp says: “The publicity committee has failed so far to contribute anything for the Realtor.’’ I hope he has at least ss much success as I have had. Two realtors hare sent me contributions in the last year. So far I am a trifle ahead of Temp. . And then several of the realtors ask why they never get any publicity! What does Temp know about married meq and married life? He hasn't had enough experience to say, “We married men know better than that.” Our John Robins was red-faced as well as red-bre3gted Thursday night when ar guing over the proposed chang.es in the bylaws. A. S. MacLeod, Forrest Knight and Cornelious Holloway are newly elected directors —the realtors sure chose three hust ers, men who are for a bigger, bet ter and stronger real estate board. Who ever thought as much action and fight as was displayed Thursday night could possibly be found In the board. That shows what a proposed change wilt cause. A proposed change once every month would make every realtor a livelier man. Now let’s elect a president that is well known, well liked and one who has taken an active part in the affairs of the board. Those realtor ads sure are attracting a lot of attention and causing a good deal of very favorable comment. If it was compulsory to wear a bead waiter's outfit at the banquet next Fri day the attendance would be consider ably smaller than expected and those present would be In agony* As it Is every one can attend and every one is requested to dress In hls or her most comfortable clothes, as we want every one to enjoy themselves. And a word in regards to the banquet and entertainment. Everything possible has been done to make the evening an enjoyable one for those attending. Nus sed: send in your reservation so you won't be disappointed. The Philadelphia Heal Estate Board has just completed a publicity compaign which staiied last August. Haring that time they spent $-12,009. The realtors of that city are now getting the interest .on the money they Invested in this cam paign. These realtors report a very ac tive market at the present time. PUN WORK FOR I'XEMPLOYED, KOKOMO. Ind..
