G. W. Westfall. of, Tama, entered
the Deaconess hospital this forenoon
to be prepared for an operation for
prostatic trouble.

submitted to an operation for the re
moval of tonsila and adenoids at the
Deaconess this morning.

I believe the city should own and
operate its street lighting plant and
should extend same for street lighting.
As to selling electricity to private con
sumers I am in favor of whatever plan
will save the most money for our peo
ple and relieve them from any heavy
