For the first time In many moons
a southpaw twirled for Paducah and
pitched the team to victory That

out of the victory because Hart Is a

big Harrisburg players at his mercy

stock Until the fifth Inning noth
ing like a hit was registered

A Paducah battery won the game
as Overtoil was removed from be

field In tho patched up outfield
Eddie Brahio was behind the bat
and did good work
Umpire Kolaker officiated In th °

game it looked like ho gave Padu
cah the hot end of It and particu
larly Dummy Payne In tho fourth
Payne laid down a bunt and beat it
to first as the throw from Calbert
drew Gust off the bag but Kolskor
never saw It In the sixth Payne
stung one down to Miller who was
accredited with the putout Payne
dived for the bag and apparently
beat It out but his umpa said nay
It was one of those games that
kept the fans on edge night in the
first Inning the visitors scored
Miller was first up and stung a hot
one towards Payne The sphere hit
his shoe Instead of his clove and
Miller was safe Miller stole second
and went to third on a throw to
