ADUCAHANS wake up and see the great opportunities I
bdore you Paducah has the natural advantages and the
logical position with reference to other towns to make her a
great city What of the great trunk lines of railroad coming
in and the four great rivers that flow at her feet Paducah will
soon have every advantage in freight rates and factories and
other enterprises will soon follow So in a more serious vein
than Proctor Knott said it of Duluth Let us go to work to
make Paducah lithe zenith city of the unsalted seast
The following is a better Had than we caa write for
Paducah and
Colonial Heights
so we copy it in full from the public prints
The Gateway of the South
pADUCAH has the brightest future of any city south of the
Ohio river and if the shippers of this city extend the en
courrgement we think they will our road and its allies will do all
t in our power to make it the leading trade center of the south
and the true gateway to the rich country that lies below here It
is already the natural gateway to the south andwith our entrance
to this city which will be the southern terminus for the time
being Paducah will grow more rapidly than any city in the
country said Mr C G Burnham vicepresident of the Burling
ton railroad to a NewsDemocrat representative yesterday
Now the logical meaning of all the above is that NOW
is the time to buy lots in
Colonial Heights
Do not wait until the advance comes but get in now on the
ground floor
TAKE NOTICE The man who builds in Colonial
Heights will have city water sanitary seweaage graveled
streets and granolithic sidewalks just as in the city
TAKE NOTICEThe man who builds in Colonial
Heights will enjoy a high dry well drained and healthy home
site out of reach of all malarial influences
TAKE NOTICEThe man who builds in Colonial
Heights will enjoy pure air entrancing view convenient car i
service and school facilities with only county taxes after four
years
TAKE NOTICEPrices are low and terms easy only I I
20 to 30 cash and 6 88 to U67 J per month with a little I
more for corners No interrst at all No taxes for four 4J j I
years No charge for improvements
TAKE NOTICE We have reasonable and wholesome
restrictionsa building limit 1500 J to 2500 a building line
25 feet from sidewalk or to put it so you can remember it
No interest no tax
No negroes no shax
