THE CIRCLE BANNER Ben M. Larson, Owner and Publisher Published every Friday at Circle, Entered as second-class matter Nov. 27th, 1914, at the post office at Circle, Montana, under the Act of March 3,1879. SUBSCRIPTION RATES One Year... Six Months, Advertising Rates on Application. Montana .$ 2.00 .«1.00 1» For President— WOODROW WILSON For Vice President— THOMAS R. MARSHALL Geo. W. Davison For Sheriff We wish again to call cur read ers attention to the fact that Geo. Davison of Paxton is the demo cratic candidate for Sheriff of Dawson county. From present indications Mr. Davison will be an easy winner, never-the-less it is important that all of thi s section in particular get busy and boost for him. That Mr. Davison will make a good official there is no doubt about. He is now one of the pres ent Sheriff's able deputies, having held that position at Paxton for nearly two years and is known to enforce the law when ever an occasion arised. That he is a good man for the job is evidenced by Mr. Twible selecting him as one of his deputies. At the time of his appointment the Paxton Pilot said:"A better man could not have been selected for the job." Besides this Mr. Davison has been a resident of the Redwater Valley for about 17 years, at one time having a ranch over on past ure creek east of Paxton and is therefore familiar with and knows the country thoroughly. He is now conducting a feed barn at Paxton. Mr. Davison also had the contract for the hauling of Uncle Sam's mail from Union to Paxton for nearly two years up till last fall during which time lie gave us good service. In voting for Sheriff at the general election give Mr. Davison consideration before casting your ballot. L. D. Richards For County Treasurer Among the many candidates that favored this office with a call last week was L. D. Richards of Lindsay, the democratic can didate for county treasurer. Mr. Richards is a very pleasant j sort of fellow to meet and we are | satisfied that he will make an ex cellent Treasurer. He is one of j the most progressive and success- j ful farmers of the Lindsay coun- j try. Before locating in Montana Mr. Richards was engaged in the mercantile business back in Iowa 1 for years. He is a man capable of handling the office he seeks to perfection. You will not regret | giving him your vote on Nov. 7th. j Registration Closes October 9fh All voters who wish to vole at the general election this fall, who have not already registered, must not forget that they will have to register before October 9th. Therefore it is important that all parties desiring to vote, get busy and register at once. All persons who were registered and who voted at the general election in November, 1914, or who have registered since that those who have moved to other precincts than where originally registered, should have their reg istration cancelled and register in the precinct where they now re side. All persons who reside within 10 miles of the court house must register by appearing before the county clerk at his office, but those who reside further than 10 miles from the court house, may register by appearing before a justice of the peace or a notary public or a special deputy reg istrar. We will serve lunches at the Soda Fountain as soon as our equippment arrives. Come in and have a lunch at Fair time. 9-22-29 Ira Fox. Political Announcements COUNTY AUDITOR A Vote for Leonard J. Guy for County Auditor will be for your Interest. COUNTY TREASURER I wish to announce that I am a Can didate for the office of County Treasur er on the Democratic ticket and would appreciate your suspoat on Nov. 7th. L. D. Richards, Lindsay.
