Holme? of Pomona, Cal . and Daniel Gallagher, miners who were on their way to Chichagoff on the power boat Chlchagoff, were asphyxiated yester day in the forecastle of the boat while they slept. Automobile dealers are united in their plans to make the second auto mobile show the greatest in the north west. A committee, consisting of Howard Pierce. John Berkin and I. M Wheeler, held a meeting yesterday aft ernoon and made some of the arran ments. but have not yet decided upon the date. The Murray building seems to be the favorite among the majority of the dealers. Space amounting to more than $3,000 worth has been sold, and this amount will be increased from time to time. The $3,000 will be used for decorations, music and features. Immediately after the meeting Mon day night dealers got busy with the various factories and many wires have been sent for show cars. Some of the factories have informed the dealers that experts will be on hand for the show. Herbert S. According to the registration on the thermometer at Hannifln's corner, the cold was of the same intensity from 3 o'clock this morning until 11 lock today, when a slight upward trend began. However, the reports from the offi cial weather bureau on the roof of the Daly Bank building are somewhat dif ferent. Since 6 o'clock last evening the maximum was 2 above. At 10 o'clock this morning 7 below was the mark. While the weather bureau Helena predicts a rising temperature this evening, the local indications are for a continuance of the cold this evening with a probable improvement In conditions tomorrow.
