Dillon, Mart h 15.—While reports have reached Dillon from all other parts of the state In regard to the severe winter and loss of cattle from starvation, the cattlonrten here are en joying a most successful and profit able winter. While the winter has been rather long, It has jiot been se vere, necessitating only a light feed ing. and the stockmen have had an abundance of hay to carry them through the winter. Stockmen in northern and eastern Montana are having their herds depleted on ac count of no hay, but in Beaverhead county enormous stacks of untouched hay are a familiar sight. T-\ Hunsaker were brought from Butte to Dillon this morning and taken directly to the Mountain View cemetery, where they were interred, brief services being held at the grave.
