Freeze is having a new fence built around his residence. Tom Sigler left Tnesday morn ing for a short visit on Lame Jones. Call around at our new office in the restaurant building and tell us your troubles. Geo. Jolly was in town the fore part of the week with freight for W. H. Peck. "Pie" has been plentiful around the "birds" nest since the fire last Saturday. Al Tubbs was in town the latter part of last week with freight for the R. C. Charters Co. James Monroe and sister Miss Nellie were in town last week taking in the "spinsters" con vention. Our telephone number has been changed from No. 20 to No 26. Call us up and let us know your wants in our line. Joseph Shultz returned from Rapid City Monday evening where he has been visiting for the past two weeks. Smith, trouble man for the "hello" company left Tues day for a trip along the Baker line. He will overhaul the line and install several 'phones while away. Mrs. H. Sparks of Baker who held a millinery sale here the lat ter part of last week left Sunday morning with her husband for Miles City where they will take in the stockmeeting. Jack Kennedy of Sheep Moun tain was in town Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. Kennedy came in to look over the stallions that Aug. Boltz has here with a view of purchasing one of them. If a certain young gentleman in town don't cut down the num ber of his trips passed this office each day, thereby causing us to strain our necks so much, "rub bering", we will be obliged to institute a case for "damages" in Justice court. It seems that when leaving the store he always starts out in one direction, either from a force of habit or because his left leg is longer than the other. SALES COMPANY'S DATES ADVERTISED The Ekalaka Horse Sales Co., announced the following dates as the time of holding their big sales this season June 10-11. August 9-10, Sep tember 2-3, and October 1-2. This company starts out this year with a much better outlook than before and it is needless to say that the sales will be succss ful to all interested. The follow ing officers have been selected to manage the affairs of the com pany : M. B. Speelman, Pres., A. W. Lucas, Secretary and L. F. Ken nedy, Manager. Hard Time Dance The Commercial Club of Camp Crook will give the above named dance at Chuning's Hall in Camp Crook on Friday evening, April 30th.
