Appears to be L About the Right Solution Don't You Think so? As a result of the recent bond election there is some talk of aS contest. Disappointed over the 0 outcome of the election some of d the promoters of the proposition are loud in condemnation of the voters in the eastern end of the county. i Especially some of the county offi cers seem to forget that they were elected by the vote of the whole 1 of Meagher county, that they are l the servants of the people instead of loyal acquiesence in the will of 1 the majority. that they have en- 1 listed with those whose vision is bounded by the limits of their own local community. From all tangible sources it is apparent that the progress and development made in eastern Meagher county in the 1 past three years, is much greater than that made in the west end, 1 hence the jealousy manifested by our brethern across the Belts. The a time is now at hand when Meagh e er county will be divided. The facilities for reaching White Sulph e ur Springs are intolerable. There e is little doubt that as soon as the assessors returns are made up peti r tions will be presented to the commissioners of Meagher county 1- for a special election for the crea ' tion of a new county. We predict n that by January Ist, 1912, the or m ganization of Merino county will o have been completed. Pleads Guilty e E. F. OUR BOYS AGAIN VICTORIOUS Local Team Adds Twodot's Scalp to Rapidly Accum ulating Bundle Though weather conditions last Sunday were the most unfavorable of the season, they in no wise, dampened the enthusiasm of the fans. A game was scheduled with Twodot, and it was 4 o'clock be fore the cow town aggregation ar rived on their hand car special. The Twodot team was some what crippled and was reinforced by two recruits from the round house. A good bunch of rooters graced the side lines, and shivered throughout the seven innings, dur ing which the Harlowtonites gave the visitors an awful drubbing. Andy Stevens, the White Sulphur Springs south paw, did the heav ing for the visitors, and the way the home boys lambed his twirlers to all points of the compass made the oldest fans dance with joy. (lervetti and Moe, the Harlowton battery, were the stellor perform ers for the home team, Gervetti striking out fourteen men during the game. The base running of Husband, Campbell, Caine, Ger vetti and Moe kept the Twodot players disconcerted, and the in accuracy in base throwing was re sponsible for the one-sided score. Rice, for the visitors, featured in - his stick work, scoring a home run, double and single. The final score - at the end of the 7th: Harlowton, 1 14; Twodot, 4. Herb Hawley held the indicator, and the game was minus the jawing and quibbling that has usually characterized games between these two teams. V Next Sunday we meet Martins I dale on the home grounds if weath t er conditions are favorable. The f game will be played at the fair L grounds. A stiff game is assured, t- and everybody invited. n Austin Pierce of Twodot was in Harlowton Wednesday.
