J. Gunther, Mayor of Pleatywood, Montana, do hereby designate, Saturday, the Seec ond day of November, A. D. 1918, as Fire Prevention Day for the -Town of Pieitywood, Montana. It is a commop occurrence to re ceive reports at the Fire Marshall's office, stating the cause of fire as "stove too close to wall or wood work," or "caused from over-beated stove." Also, statistics kept in the Fire Marshall's office in the State of Montana' show, that over fifty total loss ,fres were due to the defective chimneys and flues. On said Fire Prevention day, let the Fruse owner, the land-lord and the tenant make it his or her duty to see that furnaces and flues and ev erything that offers a possibility as a fire starter are put in perfect con p dition for the winter's use.
