George Overby was in from his farm 10 miles south Tuesday evening and informed us that he had a big of bees which had made their home underneath his granary. George wants the bees and he also wants the honey they have stored up for their winter food but he can't have both. The swarm which is an exceptionally heavy one, apparently, will be. the nucleus for more hives next spring. —00— Mrs. Prank Guenther, accompanied by Mrs. Mabel Ator, Alvin and E. W. J c u kï Hentywood School Notes Kenneth Olson, formerly of Ante jLope but now of this city / has enroll ed in the senior class. Harriet Olson i is enrolled in the freshman class. i Franklin Hendricks, who has at tended the Victor high school duiing the past year, has enrolled as a soph-1 omore. P j The high school enrollment to date is 168, consisting of 65 freshmen 41 sophomores, 33 juniors and 29 sen- 1 lors * The enrollment of last week in- i eluded the names ot a few pupils who ! had been here last year and who were expected to return but for some reason or other had failed to db so. 1 It is unusual to have more places the places. Regular band rehearsal began on Tuesday evening, Sept. 11 . From the large number out for the first eve ning it would seem best to have two bands and this will undoubtedly be ' he . tase ' Parents who are interested m having their children begin in this line of activity should get in touch with the school authorities at once, Band instruments may be ordered through the school at the school dis count . So far we have two dates for foot ball, namely, Crosby at Crosby, Oct. 6 and at Plentywood Nov. 3. Willis-1 ton, Sidney, Poplar and Scobey have been offered dates. It is quite possi ble that the first game will be play -11 ed on Sat., Sept. 22. We have been fortunate in that the weather has been mild as it has for the past t 3 n days. The heating plant at the school house has undergone complete cnange and has not been usable for the past week. It is hop ed that it will be in use by Monday of next week. HAVRE WOMAN BADLY HURT IN AUTO CRASH Wolf Point, Sept. 10.—Mrs. George Gebhardt of Havre, received serious cuts and bruises in a car accident on the Roosevelt highway about six miles ea =t of Wolf Point. Mr. and Mrs. Gebhardt were returning from Plenty wood where they had visited a daugh of Mr. Gebhardt, Mrs. A. J.
