Jos. J. Jackson Reported the Sunday schools of the Stake. There aro 10 parent'classes with 3000 parents enrolled. There aro enrolled 2G3 students and teachers, with an at tendance of 76 per cent. There nro en rolled 2,717 students with 07 per cent of attendance for 1900. Ninety per cent of the officers and teachers keep tho word of wisdom and about tho samo per cent of them pay tithing. Felt that much good Is Resulting from the work dono in the parent classes of the Sabbath schools, Urged parents to support these clases in all tho wards of the Stake, and to assist in getting all children of the Stako into tho Sunday schools. Supt George N. Child reported tho work being done in tho Y. M. M. I. A. There arc 13 of theso associations In the Stake, most of them in fair run ning order. Tho stako officers are u nltcd as well as tho 100 ward officers throughout tho stake. Many young men are not yet identified with the as sociations. The stake hna improved on Era Subscriptions, but is not yet up td tho standard desired. Advised all a to read the Era and be benefited by 4ts first class articles. Tho Y. M. M. I. A. fund is thus far better than heretofore. The percentage of attendance has been about 70 per cent of tho permanent en rollment thus far this year. The Chior sang tho hymn on pago 103. Pros. Rebecca Standrlng reported 13 Relief Societies in tho stake, with about 800 members. They aro doing excellent work. Officers aro united and doing much good among tho poor and the sick. Submitted n financial report, showing tho Society to bo prosperous in tills regard. Pres. Mary E. Whitby reported 13 Primary associations in the Stake. Thcro is a good corps of local officers. Primary work is moro systematic now than before. Urged parents to sup port tho Primaries. Tho Stake Board consists of 11 members, who arc united nnd meet monthly to plan there work. In 1906 three officer's conferences and one convention wcro held. A Primary conference was held in each ward of tho stako during the year. An Organ solo was rendered by Lulu Dorton. Jos. W. McMurrin said ho had enjoy ed hearing tho reports read. Commen ted on the significance and greatness of the holy priesthood, and showed that we should give ourfirst .alleglaiice to our quorum meetings. Apostlo George Teasdale spoko brief ly on tho valuo of intelligence. Em phasized tho necessity of parents liv ing tho gospel as an example a to their children. Bo It Ordained by tho City Council of American Fork City, Utah County, State of Utah: Section 1, -That American Fork City, in Utah County State of Utah, incur an indebtedness of $23,000.00 for tho purpose of supplying said City with water, and issue its bonds therefor; said indebtedness having been hereto fore authorized by a majority vote of the qualified electors of Said City at a special election called for that purpose, and held In said City on November 10, 1906. Section 2, That the works for sup plying such water shall be owned and controlled by said City. Section 3, -That said $23,000,00 of bonds shall bo designated "Water Bonds." Section 4, -That said Water Bonds shall bo twenty three In number, num bered consecutively from 1 to 23 both inclusivo of tho denomination of 11,000 each, dated February 1st 1907 and due Fobrunry 1st 1S27, with the privilege of pre-pnyment on or after February 1st 1917, and shall " bear interest at tho rnte of fivo per centum per annum payable semi-annually, the semi annual installments of interest to be evidenced by interest coupons attached to said bonds. Section C, That all said bonds and coupons shall bo payablo in gold coin of the United States of America, of or equal to tho present standard or weight and fineness, at tho Deserct National Bank in Salt Lako City, State of Utah. Section 0, That each of said bonds' shallbc signed by tho Mayor of American Fork City, countersigned by tho City Recorder, nnd bear the seal of Ameri can Fork City, and tho City Recorder; shall endorse upon each of Bald bonds a certificate that the said bond is within the lawful debt limits of said City, an is issued according to law, and shall sign such certificate in his official character. In witness whereof the said Amerl- 1 DMth of Mrs. Hannah Wild. Mri Hannah Wild was called to the great beyond at 2 p. m. yesterday after noon, 'after a five days illness with la grippe. Sho was surrounded by her family and friends. She with her parents wcro among the very first settlers in American fork, which has been her homo up to the time of her death. It is not necessary to state -'ho will bo greatly missed by the entire community, for her faithful and untlre'.ng work among the sick and af flicted. Having taken up the proffes slon of nursing nnd mld-wlfery many years ago; she was always ready to be at the bedside and smooth tho pillow of thasick. Faithful to her calling she labored to the last. Her desire was to continue to bless and benefit mankind. There aro many who respected her med ical advlco above all others. Mrs. Wild was the mother of ten children, seven of whom survive her.
