Remedy
Bad stomachs mean bad blood bad
blood means sallow unattractive skin
Why The stomach in a healthy con
dition separates the nutritious matter
from the food and gives It to the blood
to supply the entire body with nourish

If the stomach Is not in a healthy
condition It does not separate from the
food the nutritious matter and it passes
off with the waste
Thus the blood Is impoverished and
has not sufficient nourishment to sup

Nephi People Prevail Upon the
Land Board to Have Con
tractor Dig Further
I
WIll H Farnsworth secretary of the
state board or land commissioners re
turned yesterday from Nephl where he
went with A G Glauoue member or the
Loard as a pedal committee to inves
tigate the experimental well dug on the
Levan ridge by Frank Moore under
state contra t
Aft > r digging 400 feet Moore struck wa
ter and there Is now 235 feet of water
in the well The contract with Moore
was for a well l1O feet deep but there
was a question ns to whether It would
rot be better to be satisfied and not dig
further
ThC matter was Lakrn up before the
Nephl Commercial club and It asked that
th work be continued The finding of
H Hr at all ie of great Importance but
If a flowing well can be struck there
will be thousands of acres which will be
settled UI at once It declares At tac
solicitation of the Nephl Commercial club
it was decided to hate the well digger
continue for at least 200 feet more After
that the appropriation or the state will
have been exhausted and members of the
commercial club said they would pay the
extra expense of digging 1000 feet If
necessary
Owners or large tracts cannot live up
en them but live In Nephi or Levan and
flier drive te1 piles or more to their
ialr1S Rater has to be hauled The
finding of flowing wells would mean a
wonderful boom as the land Is ferUle
all the way down the valley between Le
van and Nelthl Board members feared
that If the well was continued a sub
terranean passage might be opened which
would carry off the water The people
of Nephl dlcldll to take that chance and
they believe they will get a flowing well
a few hundred feet further down
Contractor Moore was Instructed to pro
ceed with the work
