shown weakness during the last two
days on some Items but the wholesale
and retail trade people should not de
lude themselves Into thinking that the
bottom Is going to fall out of the mar
ket ns this weakness la due to the
board of trade manipulations and not
to any visible supply The Salt Lake
dressed meat market Is controlled by
eastern fluctuations the supply In the
yards every night governing the price
of fresh pork and beef the following
day Fresh dressed pork sold for 18
and 19 cents Saturday and dropped to
17 cents yesterday
