The Aggie basketball team leaves
this morning for Salt Lake City
where they play the University to
night in the Deseret gymnasium. The
University to all Salt Lake four are
booked to win and from the 4one
they have an even chance. Their
! score with the Montana Aggies was
41 to 9 'while the Aggies in two
games here with thetn averaged the
same score. Then again, the Unlver-

crowd. The Aggies are determined
to do the same thing that they did
to the University on Thanksgiving

Mrs. Rosctta Zllllnger wife of Mr.
Jacob Zllllnger, died at her home In
Providence, Thursday night. The de
ceased lady was a native of Swltser
land and was born June 16, 18H.
She has twelve living children, one
Is serving in the army and one is
filling a mission. Funeral arrange
ments will be announced later.

tite for liquor, which she proceeded

Mayor H. H. Jensen of Hyrum,
came to Logamyesterday to talk over
the moving picture business with
some of our local motion picture
magnates. -
The Second ward Relief Society
workers are to be complimented.
During the month of January this
organisation contributed 60 sweaters
and 20 pairs of socks to the Red
Cross. This is a splendid showing
for such a small ward.

' At assembly, last Monday, Senator
J. V. Punk, gave a very excellent
talk In which he showed quite clearly
how 'each student could play hie part
of tfie game In the great world con
flict that is now going on in Europe.
Other numbers on the program were
a solo by Bessie Smith and a solo by
Elisabeth Roskelley. '
Principal C. H. Anderson and In
structors have been busy recently
working over some phases of the
course of study with a view of adjust
ing the vocational work to meet the
requirements of the Smtth-Hughea
Vocational Act, recently passed by
Congress. A
Francis KIrkham, State Vocation
al Director, who Is In charge of the
application of Smlth-I'ushPt Act In
Utah, was. at the high sclnal last
week going over the requirements of
the Aet with Trlnclpal Anderson.
Many of the students are doing
their-best to help defend liberty by
buying Thrift Stamps. The Junior
Class now leads the rest of the school
In the average amount per student
spent for Thrift Stamps and the Se
nior .CJass leads In the percentage of
members of ithe class who have pur
chased stamps.
The North Cache basketball team
surprised their most ardent support
ers, lasf "Saturday night, by defeat
ing Box Elder to the tune of 26 to
24. From the first toss of the ball
both;, teams seemed to be evenly
matched and it waa nobody's game
was- persuaded to remain by Sir
Blount and Lady Eleanor, who beg
ged hla not to wound Stella Marls,
who loved him. TO rectify the great
wrong done Unity, Rlsca adopted her
and had his aunt Gladys keep house
for him, Through unremitting kind
ness, though he telt no warm affec
tion for the child, he won her grat

looking after his comfort.
Stella Maris continued to rule her
world, of which she- termed John
Rlsca her Chief High Belovedst, arid
he was a constant attendant at her
court, weaving beautiful and fantas

kills Mrs. Rlsca and destroys her
self. Her deed Is attributed by, the
police to motives of revenge.
