WILLIAMS’ MARKET LETTER
The sensational richness of the Jumbo
is the continued talk of every one in the
district. On the Vermilyea lease the ore
is widening out and the rich streak is
over 6 incites in width that runs almost
FIFTY PER CENT GOLD. We firmly
believe it is the richest ore ever found.
On the Ridge Curtis lease the ship
ments average over 81,000 to the ton—
and they cannot get sacks fast enough to
sack and ship the ore. The stock of the
Jumbo, although in {tool, is worth many
times what it is selliug for. We have
made arrangements for 15.(HH>shares sub
ject to pool that we can get agreements,
guaranteed by the bank for delivery
when pool is ofl'. This stock we can sell
for <50 cents per share and the wise ones
are buying it. We can see no reason
why there should not be a dividend de
clared very shortly and when the lessees
quit work. Nov. 1st, there should be many
thousands for dividends. Our advice is
to buy.
On the St. Ives, the Joshua Club lease
ran into ore that for 2 feet averages
better than 8300 and a lead of about 1
foot assays over 86.000.
Between the St. Ives and Jumbo lies
the property of the Goldfield Coming
Nation and the company will commence
work on their ground the coming week.
This stock is ridiculously low at the price
asked for it—ft cents—and they cannot
fail to strike the same ricli ore that shows
on the St. Ives.
The heaviest seller of the week has
been Red Top, both here and at San
Francisco. One day on the stock ex
change at San Francisco this last week
more Red T*>p was sold than all of the
other stocks put together. We advised !
you to purchase this ami many of our
clients have made money. The stock is
still too low and you cannot lose by buy
ing it at the price we quote. On some of
the propeny that has been leased by the
Jumbo and Vernal Extension company a
strike « as made. The strike was on the
claim that joins the Vernal claim and
promises to be as rich as any in the camp.
Wonderful pannings are shown and as a
result of the strike the stock has jumped
to 15 cents. We can strongly recommend
this stock and ask you to get in and get
some.
\\ e are offering to purchase (tooled 1
Mohawk from lft to 20 cents and have a I
small amount to sell at g5 cents. This j
property lies between the lied Top and
the Combination and the company will
commence working this week. The ter
ritory is one of the best in the camp and
under the strong management will do- j
velop into a mine.
We have orders f< r Columbia Mount i
ain that we cannot til! and aie oliering
to purchase stock at 25 cents. One hun
dred thousand shares sold in Tonopah in
one day and it is held very closely.
Goldfield, if the Associated Press
would pub'ish the truthful statements
about it. would have such a stampede
that the like has never been heard. We
want you to get in and secure the snaps
before the crowd comes as we will place
ourselves on record and say, ‘•Every
stock now offered will increase at least
one hundred percent!”
Buy and buy light.
There are a lot of companies being in
corporated in this district and before buy
ing their stock write us and enquire, for
if you don’t you are liable to pm chase
stock in some company that is not worth
a e nt. We will cheerfully give you in
formation in regard to any of these com
panies for your own protection and do
not want any one to purchase worthless
stock. Our aim is to make Goldfield’s
name shine as one of the bright stars in
the list of mining camps and not to have
her name blemished by unscrupulous
persons bilking the public with their
worthless stocks.
We ask you to write us and we will not
try and answer your letter by knocking
the stock you enquire about and advising
you to purchase some other, but will
gladly tell you the truth!

COAL IS CAPTURED
All Patented Coal Lands of Nevada
Secured by Dr. Williams et Al.
The sensational event of the week is
that, in the face of unusual competition,
practically the entire coal district of Ne
vada has been bonded or purchased by
California, Boston and New York capi
talists. acting through Doctor Frances E.
Williams
It is claimed that the Groezenger mine
is proven to be the most valuable, and
furnishes the key to further develop
ment. Fifteen eapitali'ts have been on
the spot at Conldale within the past few
weeks, but • Uncle Billy” Groezenger re
fused to deal with any one. saying that
he wanted to deal with his friend, the
••Doctor.” whom he designated ns the
steam engine. I lie Doctor arrived at 5
a. m., after an all night ride, for the third
time, and in one hour the Groezenger
bond was signed. On the following day
Judge lVters signed on like terms, and
then Sheriff Ingalls. In 21 hours Doc
tor Williams had secured over 12IHI acres,
comprising the cream of the coal district
of Nevada.
On the following day a corporation
was formed, capitalized at five million
dollars, and pursuant to the Act of Con
gress of 15Kt2, and entitled “The Coaldale
Coal Mining Co.”
Arrangements were at once effected
to have the first engine that will soon en
ter Tonopah burn the Nevada coal, taken
from one of these mines, the Groezenger.
and a force of men were immediately put
to work taking out the coal for this pur
pose.
Active development on several of their
other coal mines will be started within a
month. i
