THE STOCKHOLDERS OF
THE WATTIS COAL
COMPANY.
Pursuant to resolution duly offered
and adopted by the board of directors
of the Wattis Coal Company, at a
meeting of said board held at the of
fice of said corporation in the David
Eccles Building, in Ogden City, Weber
County, State of Utah, on Saturday,
the 7th day of June. 1919, and entered
in the minute book of said corporation
as a part of the proceedings of aald
meeting.
Notice is hereby given, that a special
meeting is hereby called and will bo
held at the office of said corporation,
in Room No 421, ia tho David Ecries
Building, in Ogden City, Weber Coun
ty, State of Utah, on Tuesday, the loth
day of July, 1919, at the hour of eleven
o'clock a, m , for the purpose of rati
fying an agreement proposed by tiie
board of directors of said company, to
be entered into by the Wattis Coal
company and the Lion Coal company
and providing for the consolidation of
the Wattis Coal company and the
Lion Coal company, upon the terms
and conditions expressed in said pro
posed agreement, heretofore adopted
by the board of directors of the Wattis
Coal company, and for the transaction
of any other business in relation to
said proposed consolidation, and an
business of the Wattis Coal company,
which may properly como before the
stockholders thereof.

WRECKED NEAR
SCHUYLER, NEB,
OMAHA, Neb.. June 25 A Union
Pacific train bearing 183 soldiers to
San Francisco was wrecked near
Schuyler. Neb., this morning when the
boiler of the locomotive exploded. En
gineer Michael Norris of Omaha was
slightly scalded.
Two coaches containing soldiers
were, derailed, but no soldiers were
hurt. The soldiers went to Schuyler
until another train could coni'- for
them.

about 15 miles from here, from a for
est fire started on Lookout mountain
by campers. Early today the fire was
reported under control.
