July 4th and 5th J I 1 I The Ogden Business Houses whose names appear at the bottom of this page, will close their ill I I doors all day Friday and Saturday, July the 4th and 5th. 1 I I I We realize that there is very little essential shopping to be done - at this time of the year - in II i I ' the one day between the Fourth of July and Sunday the 6th. We believe that the shopping 1 I I public will gladly arrange their trading so as to make this holiday possible. 1 j I 'S I By closing all day Saturday we will be able to give to the hundreds of employees affected, a I I I full three days' vacation, as they will be able to leave the stores Thursday evening, July 3rd, ji j i I and not return to their places until Monday morning, July 7th. jlj I ?A I We trust that our various customers will appreciate what a boon this will be to the clerks, I I 1 I particularly at this extreme warm period, and that you will all plan to do your shopping during 1 : I the first four days of next week - the earlier the better. I I Z I All of the stores mentioned here will observe their usual Saturday closing hours on Thursday, I j 2j I July 3rd, and remain closed thereafter until Monday morning, July 7th.
