An ordinance granting a franchise
over, across, along and under certain
streets and highways in the Village of
Eden, in Weber county, state of Utah,
and prescribing restrictions, condi
tions and limitations attaching to and
covering said franchise.
The Board of County Commissioners
of Weber county, state ot Utah, ordain
Section 1 Subject to the conditions
and limitations hereinafter prescribed,
a franchise is hereby granted to the
Eden W fttt r Works Company, a corpo
ration, organised and existing under
and by virtue of the laws of the state
of Utah, for the purpose of supplying

struction, operation, maintenance al
teration or repairs of said pipe lines or
I water system.
j Section 3. In case said corporation
1 shall not within the period of two
I years from the date of the passage of
this ordinance construct said water
system so that the same shall be capa
ble of opera: ion lo the extent of sup
plying the inhabitants of the said town
of Eden, who are stockholders in said
I corporation, or w ho may hereafter be
come such, with water for culinary,
'domestic or other purposes, 01 shall
I neglect to operate and maintain said
water system after the same shall
have been constructed and installed
