place today and the event Is being
celebrated in true westrn style
Tho dam is the highest structure
of its kind In the world 32S feel
It IB 85 feet long at tho bottom and
200 feet long at the top
I It is designed to hold back flood
I waters of the Shoshone which will
form an artificial lake ten miles
square
This Is expected to furnish water
for the irrigation of 159000 acres
EJECTED FROM TRAIN
NOW SUES COMPANY
Despite the fact that he had In his
possession a railroad ticket which he
had purchased from Reno Nevada to
this city Joseph Maltz says In a com
plaint filed yesterday In the district
court that ho was ojeoted from a
Southern Pacific passenger train near
Elko on Nov 4 and was compelled to
remain over In that city for twelve
hours until friends came to his as
sistance and loaned him 915 with
which he purchased another ticket to
Ogdcn
At the time he was put off the train
tho employees of the company used
threatening language towards him In
the presence of a number of other
passengers which greatly humiliated
him he declares For tho treatment
he received and the injury to his feel
ings and person caused by the net 01
tho companys employees Maltz auks
