against him Thursday Miss Evans
called at the county attorneys office
and Insisted that the complaint
against Goldfnrb be dlfiinhsod pay
lug that she would not testify against
him

County Attorney Lyon was pro
pared for this as he had made in
quiry and learned from the birth rec
ord of the girl that she wan over IS
ycnra of age and when she Insisted
thnt the complaint he dlflinlBsed and
refused to testify the sheriff was in
structed to place her under arrest and
a complaint was Issued against her
by the county attorney charging her
with criminal conduct with Goldfarb
She Is now In tho county Jail
The first complaint against Gold
farb was dismissed by the county at
torney and the man Immediately wus
rearrested on a new complaint alleg
ing the same facts as the one against
the Evans girl
