Having beard manv statements prejudicial to your Patent Conical Mills, the result of ignorance "aud prejudice. 1 confess I was unfavorably im pressed for a lonir time, until 1 had used some flour made by them, when 1 was convinced that they were capable of majjintr as good or better flour than I had ever had from any other kind of Mills. Now this is to certify that 1 have in my bascm, ent. No. 1 Buffalo street, two, run < f your Conical Mills, with which I hnvo made, within tho last four months, a largo quantity ofl flour, from an average of four bushels and _ ft pounds of wheat to the barrel, one-halt of-which passed for extra in the city of New-York, the other half for superfine. '1 have done this to satisfy myself as to the yield. 1 believe your Mills require not more than one-half as inneh power gs the. fiat stones.to do the same amoun of lrtisiness. Too'great excitement of iJie genital organs is, however, productive of otner effects, besides premature iiuppteucy; it tends to derange the digestive functions, anil weaken the physical and mental powers. Thus parents and other.-, are often deceived as to the true source of the complaints of the youth and young men. It could be shown how attenuation of the frame, palpitation of the heart, derangoment of tho ner vous system, cough, indigestion, and a train of symptoms, indicative of consumption, are often ascribed to wrong causes, when, in reality, they are the consequences of an alluring and perni cious practice, alike destructive to the mind and body.
