12 FUN ON FLORIDA STREET. Mrs. J. Tobln IVrnecuted by a Neigh bor's Bojtn in I?»-tHliation. Mrs. James Tobin, JOOS Florida street, appealed to the police yesterday for pro tection from some boys who are persecut ing her. About a month ago two heavy wagons drove up to her re&idence. each with six barrels of beer, which had been ordered by telephone. She refused ;o accept them, as she had not ordered them. Next day an ice wagon drove up to her door with a ton of ice. and since then kegs of nails, a carriage aud other articles have been delivered. A few days ago an undertaker's wagon drew up in front of her house, and this capped the climax. She could bear it no lontrer. Policeman Fitzgerald was detailed to in vestigate and found that the persecution is in retaliation for a joke played on the Colemans, neighbors of Mrs. Tobin, by her son, who advertised that the Cole mans wanted a Japanese toy.
