The following banks have declared the usual semi-annual dividends: German Savings and Lean, 3% per .cent per annum on all deposits, against 3 per cent last year; San Francisco Savings Vhlon. 3.42 per cent on term and 3 per cent'on ordinary deposits; California Safe Deposit and .Trust Company. 3.0. per cent- on term and 3 per cent on ordinary deposits, all three payable January 2; First National Bank, one at the rate of 10 per cent per annum, amounting to $76,000, payable January 10, and nn extra dividend of $« per share, amounting to $90,000, payable Immediately. In Decem ber. 1900, the bank paid an extra dividend of »2 60 per share and in 1901 44 was paid.
