m& San Francisco Sunday dan SUCCESSFUL ENDING OF THE GREAT QUEST MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN CALIFORNIA *Tp HE great hoit for the California beauty r conducted I by The Sunday Call, is now closed. The many hun dreds of photographs of beautiful women living all over , California — of course it was not possible to publish all of them in advance— -will now be turned over by The Sun day Call to the Jury chosen to say which of them is fair est. Douglas Tilden^ the sculptor, and Arthur F. Math- v ews and G. Cadenasso, the painters, are the distinguished artists, composing this jury. The whole decision lies in their hands. '* r • Some days will be allowed the jurors for critical in spection and deliberation. If the jurors request addi tional photos of some of the contestants, The Sunday Call will undertake to obtain such at once. Names and photographs of the winners of the high honors and valuable cash prizes will be published in The Sunday Call of May 5, it being impossible to get the decisions of the jury and prepare the plates in time for next Sunday's issue. -- Winners will be notified and ar rangements made to hand them the cash prizes which were offered by The Sunday; Call.
