J. W. and P. H. Cochr ane In a letter
published in January. • The entire let
ter is made the subject of the com
plaint, in accordance with the point
decided' in Taylor's favor in Justice
Magf e's court a few days ago, th«
plaintiffs, having endeavored to sue on
only a portion' of the missive. The
sheriff was 'released "on his own recog
nizance by Justice, Mag-ec this after
noon.
"The case will come up before Judgre
Lennon in the superior court nest Sat
urday. , Taylor said this eveninar that
the status of the case was entirely sat
isfactory to him. and that he would
prove his assertions. James "V\T. Coch

when told, of Taylor's arrest.
"I had absolutely no intimation that
