Rosen, a steerage passenger, died during the voyage and was burled at sea. Rosen was a consumptive and was on his way to Arizona, where he -was being sent by- the Order of Eagles, of which he was a member. Rosen, a German' by birth, had lived. Richards has been selected by the Toyo Kisen Kaisha as chief steward of the Tenyo Maru, the first of the two new triple screw turbine liners that will shortly he placed on the run between here and the orient. Richards was de tached yesterday from the Hongkong Maru on which his place as chief stew ard will be taken by John Schurr. for merly of the Occidental and Oriental liner Persia. Richards will go to Yokohama on the Hongkong Maru as a passenger. Richards has been In the Toyo Kisen Kaisha service for many y«ars and by his employers is con* sidered a model caterer.
