Coalinga is known as the greatest oil field in the State of California: California is credited with the greatest fields in the United State?, which in turn is acknowledged to contain the s reatest fifltls in the world. In the heart of the Coalinga district is a quarter section of land — I<>o acres — which is conceded to be the very cream of this wonderful district. As the United States holds first place among the oil-producing countries of the worid, so is this the "nremicr" section of the Coalinga field. And that one word — PREMIER — tells the story: it is the name of the company The PREMIER OIL COMPANY pays a one-sixth roy- alty. They have drilled upon this 160 acres ten wells and have a production today of considerably more, than 40,000 bar- rels of crude oil per month. More wells are to be drilled — in fact. 30 more, which should give the company a production of at least 150,000 barrels monthly. .You will realize that these ) figures are very conservative when we tell you that one well, So. 9. lately brought in on this property, is producing at the rate of 1.000 barrels per day. The company has been putting its earnings back into development, but have finally agreed to let us sell a small block of treasury stock, which would give them the money necessary to put down ten new wells and enable the com- pany to begin the immediate payment of dividends from present earnings. The stock of the PREMIER OIL COMPANY is listed on the California Stock and Oil Exchange of San Francisco, and its shares are dealt in daily. The stock is worth, in our estimation. $2.00 per-share today; that it will be selling at a price far in excess of that at the end of this year is considered an absolute certainty by those best fitted to judge. We will execute your orders today at the market price. We unhesitatingly advise you to buy Premier; buy it quick and buy all you can afford. Call, write or wire, but don't delay. There was a fine breeze, and as sailing is just as much a part of a sailor's work as rowing the youngsters stepped the two little masts, hoisted sail and stood away for Sausalito, receiving instruction as the boat ripped through the water, in the art of handling a small boat under canvas. In addition to the wind there was running a strong ebb tide. . When the boys decided tf> come home they found that the tide amounted to mofe than their rowing, and in spite of their efforts they were, carried out through the heads. They were seen -by Captain Nutter of the Point Bonita life saving station, who- telephoned to the Merchants' exchange, who notified Cap tain Berry, commanding the revenue cutter Golden Gate. Captain . Berry always has time to help anybody in trouble. A few minutes later the-cut ter was headed for the Golden Gate and about 5 o'clock returned with the navy boat in tow. Outside the heads the sea was choppy and the boat had shipped considerable water when the Golden Gate overtook it Captain Berry towed the young sters back to the training station. Marooned In Mud for Twelve Hour* Joe Alberigi, who operates Crowley launch No. 9, returned yesterday from Belmont slough with the barge for which he had been sent and an appetite born of a long spell of compulsory ab stinence from food. He left here at 4 o'clock Thursday morning, reached Bel mont slough safely, but grounded his launch in the mud when he tried to navigate a crooked chanel at. the head of which was moored the barge that he was to tow to this city. The launch stayed in the mud for 24 hours. Alberigi finished hrs last sandwich during the first hour and spent the rest of the time trying to keep , warm by composing Imaginary bills of fare. . When the launch did float he lost no time in getting the barge. He got back to Howard street just in time to head off the launch that was being sent in search of No. 9.
