Oct. 27.— The visit of the delegates of the chambers of com merce of the Pacific coast, which has extended: over, five weeks on the coast of China, has now been completed. The members are taking leave ; of • fie an other,' some, en route for Manila, some en route around the world, and a few remaining longer in. China. Coming down the coast the party made two stops, the first at Fuchau and the other at Amoy. , From the outset Canton has been con sidered , the one doubtful point on the itinerary. It. is from Canton's four dis tricts that the Chinese have immigrated to America, and it J? therefore in Can ton that the soreness' exists.
