Ky„ Oct. 14.—The Cas tleton cup at the meeting of the Ken tucky Horse Breeders' association to day was won by Baden, but only after a spirited contest, in which, after a brief moment, it looked as though Esther W would carry off the large end of the purse and the cup. The champion stallion stake was won in straight heats by Baldy McGregor. In the first heat of this race the shaft of Adlen's sulky broke at the three quarters, and FMckerson was dumped out, but not seriously injured.
