Wins the GOLD WATCH Today
The gold watch awarded today goes to Miss Lillian Burkhardt,
whose picture is one of the fascinating group appearing on this page.
Miss Burkhardt is a saleswoman at the Fairmont hair store.
The prize that goes to Miss Burkhardt is a full 15 jewel Wal
tham or Elgin movement in a2O year gold filled case. The beautiful
open face watch is on a gold brooch pin and is contained in a hand
some velvet case. Watches of this kind retail at about $25.
Every Sunday a page or more of the photographs received in
L the Pretty Girl Wage Earner Contest will be published in this see
m tion and a watch awarded to the one said by the judges to be the
I prettiest of the lot.
Early in December a jury of artists will decide which is the
prettiest of all the photos submitted and the lucky original of that
picture will be awarded the grand prize of a splendid steamer trip
Any pretty girl of San Francisco who supports herself by her
own efforts is eligible.
