THE CANON CITY WEEKLY RECORD * —— J STATE CONCLAVE, BROTHERHOOD OF AMERICAS YOEMEN, TO MEET HERE The state conclave. Brotherhood of American Yoemen, will meet in this city Tuesday, April Glh, for a several days session and elaborate arrange ments are being made by the local representatives of the order for the entertainment of the visitors, of whom at least one hundred and twenty-five are expected. There will be seventy five accredited delegates to the con clave, and, perhaps an equal number of unofficial attendants from out of town. A committee on entertain ment has been appointed from the membership of Canon Homestead, No. 183, to formulate plans for extending the hospitalities of the community to the visiting Yoemen and an effort will be made to make ther stay a notably agreeable one. The committee has asked the co-operation of the Canon City Merchants' Association in the work of entertainment, and, no doubt, will receive valuable assistance from that body. There will, probably, be a banquet * THE CANON CITY RECORD, THURSDAY, APRIL x, 1909. for the members of the visiting or ganization at one of the hotels the night of the 6th prox., and, probably, cn the following day, a carriage drive over the Skyline road and the scenic drive into the Royal Gorge. There will also be complimentary trips for the visitors to the swimming pool and to other places of interest in the vi cinity of the city. Why not give the trees a decent meal this year?
