from a postmaster that such guarantor are ren
ame persons.
The accepted bidder will be required, within
ten days after bis bid is accepted, to enter into
contract, with snretles to be approved by the
Postmaster General, to supply the articles tho
proposal for which Is acceptod, In which contract
It shall be provided that In case of fallaro to sap
ply the articles, or any of them, according to tha
contract, the contractor and his snretles shall be

The following described property lying In For
est and Venango counties, near Tionesta, will be
offered at public sale, to the highest bidder, at
Azsew'a botel. In the town or Tionesta, on SAT
URDAY, the 29th day of February next, at 10
o'clock In the forenoon, viz: Tract No. 1, the
original Holeman farm, containing 401 acres.
Tract No. 2, 517 acres, made np of three pieces,
one GfCDl acres, one of 81 acres, and tte other or
45 acres, adjoining. These tracts bound on the
Allegheny river at Holeman's Flats, and are sit
uated about three miles from Tionesta. Much or
the land Is covered with excellent timber. The
cleared part Is good farm and bottom land. A
number or good houses and barns are on each

TKACT NO. 3.-137 acres, situated near the
mouth ol West Hickory creek, on the Allegheny
river, five miles above Tionesta, nnd consists or
