wildered. If any of your readers would
like to bave the receipt for making
one, here it is. Take o piece of plated
ramw, of around or oval form, and bond
it into any shape you please no long as
you eao balance the urticlo on the tup
of your baad. Smother it with artifi
cial flowers, or cover it if you like
with puffed tulle, aod add lappets at
the side if yon think them becoming;
but this, 1 should observe, is quite
unnecessary. Plant a full-blown rose
id the centre, or encirola the whole
with a wreath of roses, passion flowers
pansies, hyacinthes, daisies ivy, or
lilies of the valley, or bunches of
grapes, or some cherries or gooesber
ries. Then attach some glass beads
round the rim, and strings of ribbon
of the same colors as the predomina
ting tint of the flowers of fruit form
ing the wreath, the ends of which
strings tie together across tho breast.
Next add if you please, a second pair
of strings as muslin or tulle ; and you
have a bonnet of tho prevailing mode
whioh you can call chapeau I, amballe,
fanohon, Trianon, printanier, d'été,
Marly, or Mandarin blanc, according
to your fancy."
