ports a conniderable abatement in tbe
diNoase which has boon prevailing at
Clinton with mich fatal effect- The
disease has, however, extended to thu
country, several canes being reported,
one terminating fatally.

for several days past, and is of the
opinion that the disease oxists no
longer as an epidemic.

cross-eyed and wiry-made, and very

prominent pastor, in a visit to a
colored church. Mr. It. gave the
colored preacher the hint, and of
