W. Knobloch, clerk during the administration of Mayor Loo Hymel, to Mr. C. II. Gruueberg, clerk during thé lato administration of Mayor Joseph Nicolas, who claims to buve depo * sited them iu tie Oeart-house. Rome copies of the printed Ordinances, up to the year 1856, are still in existence, but most of those ordinances have been modified and repealed. I therefore recom mend that an entire new seto' f ordinances be enacted, suitable to the present condi tion of affairs.
