It is dated Leaven worth, May -'Jib, 1850: “1 am in the midst of another excitement more violent it possible, than was that in Raorameuto, It seems as though the devil was to pay in this country, at the present time, and no money in the treasury. lam now under arrest and indictment tor usurp ation of office and for treason, and expect to he tried next September.
