B. High ley 'in West Richmond, when their daughter. Miss Marguerite Highley, was given in marriage to Mr. Howard Wentling. The color acheme yellow and white was carried out in all the embellishments and decorative motif. The south wall of the living room was arranged with palms and ferns, stud ded with yellow and white chrysan themums, forming an altar for the n-uridine- nartv. The livine room to the north was decorated with yellow and white flowers, tne celling ana archway between the two rooms being hung with Bmilax. The lights were capped with yellow shades. The guests numbered forty and included members of the family and intimate friends. Mr. Ralph Little sang, "Dawning" and "O Promise Me," with piano accom paniment by Miss Olive Bowman, as the guests were being seated. Miss Bowman played the wedding march. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. G. Howard, pastor of First English Lutheran church, the ring ser vice being used. The minister entered the room first, followed by the bride groom and his best man, Mr. Gilbert Rogers, of Cincinnati. The bridesmaid, Miss Mary Highley, sister of the bride, vama nvt tnilowpd bv the bride, who entered unattended. The bride was charming in a gown or wnue aucness satin with over draperies of george etta crepe. She wore a tulle veil, which reached to the bottom of her gown, and carried an arm bouquet of bride's roses. Miss Mary Highley was in yellow taffeta with a Venetian lace bolero of cream color. Her flowers were an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Ellen Rogers of Cincinnati and Master Eugene Haisley were the rib bon bearers and formed the aisles for the bridal party by means of wide satin ribbons. After the ceremony a dinner in four courses was served. In the center of the bride's table was a French basket filled with Tipperary roses. Covers were laid at the table for Mr. and Mrs. Wentling, parents of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Highley, the Rev. and Mrs. E. G. How ard, Miss Mary Highley and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wentling. The other guests were served at small tables placed about the rooms. Each table was ornamented with a small wicker basket filled with yellow and white chrysanthemums. Mr. and Mrs. Went ling left for a wedding trip to Dayton and Cincinnati, and upon their return will be at home on South West Sev enth street. The bride's traveling suit was or blue, trimmed in finch fur, and her had was of gold lace. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Highley of New Castle, Mr. Russell Highley of Hagerstown,. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rogers and daughter, Miss El len, and Mr. Walter Rogers of Cin cinnati. A society wedding was given last the Third M.
