One of the most elaborate social functions in the history of the Home Economic Study class of District Num ber 6 was the banquet held last even ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dolloff on the Middleboro pike. The banquet was served at fi o'clock. Mrs. Alexander D. Cobb of Brownstown, Indiana, organizer of the class, was a special guest. Other guests were Miss Grace King,. An elaborate dinner in several courses was served. During the evening informal toasts were made by Mrs. Cobb, Miss King, Mr. Jones and Mr. Eldridge, the latter speaking of his work at Purdue, Miss Mary Kenworthy gave a reading, "Happy New Year" followed by Vic trola numbers. The committee which had charge was composed of Mrs. Harry Landis, Mrs. Pyle, Mrs. Frank Dolloff, Mrs. Albert Hayden, and Mrs. Greenhoff. Mrs. Baird had charge of the program.
