at Fur Auction Today
ST. LOUIS, Feb. 24 More than a
million pelts scheduled to go on sale
here today at the winter auction of
the International fur exchange was re
sumed.
Oppossum comprised more than' half
of the offerings and the -others, listed
included fitch. Kolinsky. Russian and
Japanese mink, fox and marten fly
ing squirrels, China mink and Pahmi.

Today was the fourth of the auc
tion with offerings finding a ready
market at a general advance of 25 per
cent over the January sale, at
Montreal and New York, the receipts
have approximated $3,000,000.

ed in the annual convention of Uie
Central Electric railway association
which opened a two-day session hero
today.
The association Is said to number

railways in Ohio, Indiana, Mich" .in.
Illinois, Pennsylvania. West Virginia
and Kentucky.
R. I. Todd, president of the Terre
Haute, Indianapolis & Eastern traction
company, is president of the associa
tion. He will give the annual address
today.

MRS. CHARLES MORGAN DIES;
FUNERAL HELD THURSDAY
CAMBRIDGE CITY. Ind.. Feb. 24
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Mor
gan, aged 48, who died here Tuesday,
were held at the home at 2:30 o'clock
Thursday afternoon. Burial was In
the Riverside cemetery.
