rse. During the husmess meeting tha

at their meetings. The social hour was
rectified very pleasant ly with games
and music and in conclusion dainty re
freshments were served. The next meet
ing will occur In two weeks.

Presbyterian church will be entertained
by Mrs. J. William Packman and Mrs.
John II. Beecher In the rarlors of the
church Wednesday afternoon at two
thirty o'clock. A program has been ar
ranged which will inoluda a group of
songs by Mrs. C. B. Miller and readings
by Mrs. Fran K. Hosier. The members
are asked to use the main entrance to
the parlors on Hohman street.
The annual social day of the home
economics department of the Hammond
Woman's Club will be observed tomor
row. May 29th, at the home of Mrs. A. F.
Rohrer. 1034 South Hohman street. Mrs.
Rohrer is chairman for the day and Mrs.
Leo Wolf, vice chairman. Luncheon will
be served the guests at twelve-thirty
o'clock and the afternoon will be devot
ed to lied Cross work.

Hammond city court this morning by
