meeting of the Raptist Woman's Union

very interesting program was given.

over-optimism as a result of the report
of Austrian strike-peace demonstra
tions and food riots. Though the slate
departments have reports showing un
satisfactory fool conditions and con
tiderable unrest it is pointed out that
these reports have rreeeeded every Teu
ton offensive so far.
According to information here the
Austrians are dissatisfied with the slow
progress in the Italian drive and it is
said nothing short of a victory there
will prevent serious troubles. Tast ex
periences show the Teutons manufacture
strike stories to belittle the efforts of
their enemy.
Austria is .tied so close by Germany
that nothing short of a great upheaval
would permit her to escape.
