Jimmy Wilde, world's fly welaht champion, also a rlngsider. declared: "It was some punch. It would have knocked over a lamp post. It didn't look like a foul to me." "U1RTV FIGHT" Tommy Burns Ixmclon sport writers emphasized the fact that Lewis turned his head momentarily and Carpentler leaped to the opening. Tommy Burns, for mer world's heavy weight champion, took an opposite view. He said: "It was 'the dirtiest two and one-half mlnqtes I ever saw. Both were to blame, but Carpentler was the worst, 1 can't see why the French man wanted to foul by butting .with his head and holding and hitting when he had an advantage of twenty-eight pounds over an" opponent In every way his inferior.' ley second base. Groat and Larson at short, and Drahurd at third. Scott and Rose will take care of the catching, while Ed Parish will do the pitching. DeRolf will act as relief pitcher.
