The Night Express cast on the
Bellfountaine road was thrown
of the track on Tuesday night be
tween Chesterfield and Ander
son, badly damaging the engine
and two cars, but injuring no
person. A pile of wood had
been placed 10 near the track that
in consequence ol the rain had
slid dowii on the track. The ac
cident delayed the rnurning mail
train till about noon.
The news of the week, and
especially of the last two days,
has been very meagre.
