The most superior Anti-Uilhoua Pill now in the market, ami winch are creating so much excitement, and are 90 greedily swallowed by the liillious, are Dr. Charles A. VanZandt's Anti-Billious Health Restorative Pills. They cure safely and certainly, without preventing the pa tient from attending to the buinesj, and are the only sure remedy for biliiouness and All its Attendant Plaques, ever placed before the people. They open the pores, cleanse the stomach restore the biliary ducts to health full operation and perform miracles in the way of preserving health, and preventing spread of dangerous maladies. This in valuable medicine will also correct a depraved appe tite, strengthen the nerves or- any other debilitated part of the system, remove those dull headaches which are premonitory of Liver Complaints, and generally accomplish what it takes Dozens of other Medicines to do. All this b performed through a concise knowledge of the plain fact, viz: that there ia but one cause for troubles of this kind, and that a medicine so made as to strike at the root of this cause, must of a necessity Annihilate and Dissipate all its subsequent re sults, which medical incompetency hassobaaly treat ed. Yes Billiousnes involves an infinity of disorders, all which render life a curse and death a relief. Billiousness is simply a manifestation of disease ol the 'liver, and if not taken In Time, will eventually send tlie sufferer to "that bourne from whence no traveler returns." Let a billious affection have sway, and it will end in induration or abscess of the liver, producing, as it commits its secret and in sidious ravages, Dyspepsia, Gout, Epilepsy, Heart disease, internal disorders of all kinds, foul stomach, Headaches, Hysterica, Shortnes of Breath, Mucous, Expectorations, Pains in the Breast, Dry Coughs, Sore Throat, Lropsy, Apoplexy, all species of wast ing fevers, capricious appetite, or lues of it; Scurvy, Chlorosis, Jaundice, Neuralgia, Palpitations, severe cosiivenes, and an hundred other fearful complaints which arc too numerous to mention. We can prove to anybody's satisfaction, that tliese pills will com pletely renovate the human frame, and Cure Perma nently, all these ills by driving away every improper condition of the bile and liver. ' . Billiousness being produced by a hot climate, by a changable atmosphere, by damps and fogs, this med icine, unequalled at it is, is just the thing for the West, where men are exposed to all the causes and effects of the Bile: to the South, where Liver Com plaints seem to be epidemical: to the Sea. when an excellent Cathartic is invariably the Preserver of lite and Hapiness. Let no one suller, but buy Dr. Van Zandt's Ann 3 SSy itS tary want it, and can procure nothing better. In short, all these virtues of the pharmaco?pia are comprised in these little pellets of life. OCrNo family should be without therruCd If philanthropists, would purchase boxes of these invaluable pills and distribute them among the poor, they would prevent the expense ot Doctor's fees, and ameliorate much genuine suffering. The proprietor of the Electuary unequivocally and dis tinctly avers (and challenges contradiction) that it will completely cure external, internal, blind or bleed ing piles ot the longest standing, no matter how obstinate the case may be. or hopr'etssly the putient may bo considered situated. Three one dollar boxes have entirely eradicated the disease, after it had exit ted in its most terrific aspects for twelve, fifteen twenty and twenty-five years; in proof of which, the fortunate indi viduals who were made whole have presented the most po.-itive and unmistakable testimony. In sonic instan ces a cure has teen effected by six doses, or half a box, after the ingenuity of a hott of physicians, and the dreadful knife of the Surgeon has been exrrcised to the utmost with out the smallest shadow of success. These are not idle assertions, falsely put forth to entrap the credulous, but solemn and wonderful truths to which hundreds will testify. Even if a surgical operation were certain to accomplish a permanant cure, it is too disgusting to be thought of, while theojony it engenders is appalling in the extreme, and shatters tlie con stitution beyond a hope of recovery. The number ot persons effectually cured of pilot by the Electuary in two years tail but little short of ten thousand in New-York, Philadelphia, Boston und other cities oi the Union. This is a great result to boast, and is not equaled, or even approached, by any event noted in the medical history of the world. It is reasonable to suppose that sneers will be levelled at these remarks. So they were at Fulton when he first made known the worth ol steam and its great practical utility so they wereat the persecuted Galileo when he published his discovery of the Microscoj so they were ot Morse when he hinted at the discovery of the Magnetic Telegraph which is now a familiar and every day oflair. It is safer for the sufferer to try before he scoffs, and procure happiness and a renewed leuseot if he life can. Many a man has lost his existence by permitting his incredulity to master his judgement. The Electuary is particularly commende d to the attention of married ladies, one-half of whom are subjected to the attacks of piles in a miditied form. The medicine can be safely taken under all circumstan ces. Either before the pilcsappear, or alter they have made their sad havue, the vic'.im is made to endure severe costiveness, giddiness, inllamation of the spleen, kidneys, liver, intestines, bladder and spine, with many corresponding ailments, for the sure cure of all ol which nothing equals the Electuary. 'i'lite pro fessions are not solely mercenary, but are made with a view of alleviating the distresses of myiiuds who can discover no method whereby to gain a restoration of their health. This tact will be apparent to all who in spect the medicine, when, by so doing, they may percieve that its cost niunt necessarily be almost as great as the price demand for it ! IFhile thiscertain and speedy remedy is to be had cheap, it is crimnal to neglect to tost its woi th, and put our unqualified asscrvatioiis in its favor the test. Messrs. lFyatt& Kctcham Gents: For several years past I have been troubled with Piles, a very coe tivestate of the bowels, indigestion and weakucss of the system. But my complaint not being so severe as to disable me from business, and a dread 1 had of physicians and patent medicines, that until thin Snrinir 1 never used any medicine or applied to a physician tor relief. The Piles then being so severe that I allowed several operations to be performed, without any benefit. Determined after this to try other means, I read an advertisement of acure guarantied by the use of Dr. Urphan's Electuary. I purchased three boxes at your store, and from the use of which 1 found myself entirely cured of the Piles a rid my health much improv ed. I remain, sirs, your much indebted friend. EZRA DIBBLE, 194 Broadway PHILADELPHIA CERTIFICATE. Dr. Urphax Dear Sir; About five years ago I was allhctcd with what was called Chronic Dysentery. I have sutlercd with it ever since, and physicians have told me that my liver was affected, and that my bowels w ere ulcerated, for blood and pus, attended with a peculiarly put rid smell, were the frequent discharges. A short time since I made a visit to Massachusetts, in hopes of ben efit from a change of air, but sutlered more severely than ever before. IFhile thcr: a physician offered to cure me for $40, in three months. Happily, in the midst of intense pain, occasionally relieved by laudanum 1 saw in a wrapper of yeur Electuary a perfect description of my complaint, together with many certiiicatcs ot cures, i his gave me great commence in me uieeueine, ana 1 purchased a box, and nine doses ol which has appearcntly cured me, and am prepared to say everything in its favor, or render any service 1 can to hu manity by subscribing to its merits. Respectfully yours, BENJAMIN PEKC1VAL, 83 South Sixth-st. : Letter from Captain McLean, V. S. X. : Rahway, June 16, 1647. "I have been afflicted for years with the piles, and have tried, without anything like permanent benefit almost everything assuming the name of a remedy. 1 had, as a matter of course, lost all confidence in medicine. Under this f-e-ling, I was induceil not without re-luctance, I conless to use 'Uphain's Electu ary,' and having used it for about three weeks according to the direction laid down, I find, to my utter sur prise as well as satisfaction, that every symptom of the disease hash ft me. I think it due alike to Dr. Up, ham and myself to make this statement. "G. W. McLEAN, late of the U.S. N." Sold, wholesale and retail by H x ATT &. KETCHAM, 121 Fulton-st. N. l o;k; and by A. C.
