Cum mins, Governor of the State of Iowa, do hereby proclaim, make known and give notice that at the general election to be held on the Tuesday next after the first Monday In November, A. Bloomfield, Oct. 24.—After two years' Illness from leakage of the heart, John Lane passed away at his home on Washington street Monday evening at 8:30 o'clock at the age of 78 years. Mr. Lane came to Iowa 70 years ago and has been a resident of this city for more than half a century. William Trultt died Monday even ing at 10:80 o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ell Trultt, east of Drakevllle. In the vigor of young manhood he was stricken a few weeks ago with typhoid fever, which proved fatal. The Ivanhoe society held a plesaant meeting Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. John Evans. H. McAchran. The next meeting will also be held at the Evans home. Judge and Mrs. F. W. Elchelberger have returned from Albta, where the judge has been holding court.
