Refuses $200 an Acre. Belle Plaine, Dec. 15.—Sam Hall, living a mile north of Belle Plaine, has been offered $200 an acre for his farm which offer he refused. This is the highest price for farms in Benton county, so far as known. A farm near Vinton was sold last fall for $162.50 an acre, but that is the highest on rec ord until this $200 an acre offer for a farm near Belle Plaine. A farm here sold recently for $150 per acre.
