The first shipment of young Hol stein* for our dairy farmers arrived in Lamar today. They were shipped last Friday from New Glarus, Wis consin, but owing to the extreme heat in the east the railoada have been running them on a night sched ule and resting during the heat of the day. The shipment consists of 102 bead consigned to the Lamar banks to be distributed among the farmer* at cost and about thirty head purchased by Messrs. Wagner and William*. Mr. E. J. Wagner ac companied the shipment. The stock yard* has been quite a show pla.ce all this morning as hundreds of farmers and cltlaens have visited the yard* to take a look at the new animals.
